Lattice hat 2002 das FPGA/FPSC Business von Agere Systems (ex. Lucent Technologies) gekauft und verfügt nun auch über FPGAs und FPSCs.
Lattice hat 1999 die Vantis Corp. von AMD abgekauft. AMD hatte 1987 MMI (Monolithic Memories Inc.) übernommen. MMI ist der Erfinder der Programmable Array Logic (PAL) und der Hardwarebeschreibungssprache PALASM.
