Der Bereich "Wireless Communication Business" wurde mit Alpha Industries, Inc. zu der neuen Firma Skyworks Solutions, Inc. zusammengeschlossen.

Produkte: Breitband-Kommunikation-ICs für das "digital home with digital information and entertainment networks".

Rockwell International hat 1999 seinen ehemals unter dem Namen Rockwell Semiconductor Systems geführte Halbleiterbereich ausgegliedert. Dabei entstand die eigenständige Firma Conexant Systems Inc.
